Lambda 265 UV/VIS-spektofotometri on ultranopea diodirividetektorillavarustettu spektrofotometri jokapäiväiseen käyttöön äärimmäisen luotettavalla tekniikalla varustettuna. Laitteen mittausalue on 190nm – 1100nm (2nm resoluutiolla) yhdellä ja samalla spektrin ajolla muutamassa sekunnissa. Laitteessa ei ole liikkuvia osia perusoptiikassa ja valolähteenä toimii korkea-energinen Xenon-lamppu (absorptiomaksimi 3A). Laitteen äärimmäisen pieni koko (leveys 34 cm, paino 7 kg) helpottaa laitteen sijoittelua. Avoin näytetila helpottaa laitteen käyttöä ja tekee käytöstä suoraviivaista sekä nopeaa.
