MA-3000 CVAAS elohopea-analysaattori
MA-3000 utilizes the technique of Direct Thermal Decomposition-Gold Amalgamation-CVAAS to measure total mercury in solid, liquid, or gaseous sample matrices.
Unlike conventional mercury analysis techniques MA-3000 can:
- Measure mercury in a wide range of samples without anymodifications to the system
- Shorten measurement time by up to 86%
- Eliminates errors which commonly occur during the sample preparation stage
Advanced Optics for Wide Measurement Range
Equipped with the patented (JP 5596995) Dual-Cell Tri-Beam detector, MA-3000 has a Method Detection Limit (MDL) lower than 0.001 ng and an extended dynamic range up to 70,000 ng of mercury. Therefore, offering the widest measurement range in commercially available Direct Mercury Analyzer to fulfill laboratory demands.
Incredible Sensitivity and Stability
MA-3000 utilizes a high-quality thermally stable light source and detector, providing an ultra-consistent emission and detection at the wavelength of 253.7 nm. It improves the background-to-noise ratio, providing superior sensitivity and stability.

The desired sample is loaded into the sample boat. The sample boat will be transferred into a sample heating furnace where the sample is heated at a high temperature according to the selected method. The sample will be decomposed, and all forms of mercury compounds will be released into its elemental gaseous form.
The released vapor will pass through the mercury collector tube, where the elemental form of mercury will be trapped onto, forming an amalgam with the coated gold layer. This steps removes interferences
When this thermal decomposition sequence is completed, the mercury collector tube is heated to liberate purified and concentrated pure mercury gas into the measurement cell, mercury is measured by CVAAS at the wavelength of 253.7 nm.

RA-4300FG+ CVAFS elohopea-analysaattori
RA-4300 is an automated, Reducing Vaporization – Gold Amalgamation – Cold Vapor Atomic Fluorescence Spectroscopy (CVAFS) mercury analyzer from NIC to provide Ultra-Trace Level of Mercury Analysis.
Automating the “Purge & Trap Oxidation”
- Dispensing of Bromine Monochloride (BrCl), a strong oxidizing agent, into the sample solution, oxidizing all forms of mercury into ionic mercury.
- Allow setting of incubation time for the oxidation to take place Excess oxidant is destroyed by Hydroxylamine Hydrochloride
- (NH₂OH.HCl), followed by reduction using Tin (II) Chloride (SnCl₂) to convert all ionic mercury into elemental mercury, Hg⁰
- The elemental mercury is purged and collected/purified onto a Gold Trap.
- Collected mercury is thermally desorbed and transported by Argon carrier gas into the optical path of CVAFS for measurement.

Extremely Clean Analysis Environment – Built-In Mercury Removal Filter
Ultra-trace level of mercury analysis requires demanding cleanliness of ambient condition, especially environmental air.
RA-4300FG+ is designed with a clean chamber concept with an integrated innovative Carbon-Layered-Mesh mercury removal filter. All ambient air goes through this mercury removal filter, removing both micro-dusts and mercury where only mercury-free air is introduced into the system chamber.
This feature ensures all samples in sample tubes are kept clean at all times throughout the analysis process.

Superior Detection Limit and Sensitivity – Detection Limit Down to 0.05 ppt
RA-4300FG+ is equipped with the latest and ultra sensitive CVAFS available which has detection down to 0.05 ppt (0.5 ppt including sample digestion process of EPA 1631e) with excellent accuracy and precision.
With this superior detection limit and excellent precision, the RA-4300FG+ is capable to satisfy a wide range of analysis applications such as snow water, seawater, rainwater and underground springs where mercury contents are in ultra-trace level.
High Productivity – Autosampler with 80 Positions
