CHNS/O -analyysi, eli orgaaninen alkuaineanalyysi, on kemiallisen analytiikan menetelmä määrittelemään eri alkuaineiden kokonaispitoisuuksia.
Hiili-, vety-, rikki-, typpi- ja happipitoisuus näytteessä määritetään polttamalla (tai pyrolysoimalla) näyte, jolloin alkuaineet vapautuvat ja kokonaispitoisuuden analyysi yksinkertaistuu verrattuna molekyylianalyysiin monimutkaisista sekoitteista. Polton jälkeen kaasuja käsitellään ja erotellaan eri tavoilla laitteistossa, jolloin saadaan kaasut tiettyyn, helposti kvantitoitavaan muotoon analysoitaviksi (N – N2, C – CO2, H – H2O, S – SO2 ja O – CO).
